Icebreaker Session ‒ First get-together before the conference
On the evening of the first conference day, the icebreaker session provided a first opportunity to network, benchmark and discuss, while allowing the participants to get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere at the futuristic nhow hotel in Berlin.
More than 25 presentations and keynotes
Inspiring discussions and presentations regarding the core issues of the conference, namely intelligent HMi technologies and systems, design perspectives, present and future HMi tools and challenges, as well as features for integrated automotive cockpits enabled diversified touch points with the audience’s experience and fulfilled the expectations to a maximum.
Throughout the three days of the conference, the many topics of focus played an important role in the agenda. Field reports, panel discussions, as well as case studies were presented. The exchange of ideas between participants, speakers and business partners was animated and encouraged through different kinds of sessions (e.g. World Cafés, Challenge Your Peers Roundtables) providing real value for the attendees. Accordingly, the conference aimed at turning the participants into active debating members, rather than passive listeners and this goal was notably achieved.
‘For me the perfect event! I got a sharp and valuable overview of current HMI systems and in touch with a number of high-level experts!'

we.CONECT Challenge Your Peers
Participants suggested numerous encountered difficulties within the industry and possible, practical solutions.
In addition to the outstanding speeches of the event, we.CONECT strived to achieve more. This is why each participant was asked ahead of time for further concerns, questions and topics to be raised. According to the gathered answers, we.CONECT created innovative and exciting Challenge Your Peers Roundtables. Each table came to deal with important matters, for which participants had shown interest, and discussions lasted issues and trends for most of the second-day afternoon.
Overview of the Topics:
Future trends in HMI: Technological trends
Future business opportunities
The main challenges of HMI for Autonomous Driving
